False News: Gov’t Has Not Endorsed Any Agencies To Assist Travellers To The USA
The Foreign Ministry has debunked claims that it has endorsed some agencies to assist government to transport some stranded persons through the Ghana-Togo borders to return to the United State of America amid COVID-19.
The ministry in a statement said the news circulating on the issue is untrue.
“The ministry wishes to state on authority that the piece of information is false.” The statement read
Adding that “The ministry does not have the mandate to issue a permit for entry and/or exit for individual or group”
