COVID-19: Zoomlion Ghana Disinfects Capital View Hotel

Waste management giants, Zoomlion Ghana Limited as part of its contribution to the fight against the spread of coronavirus, has disinfected Koforidua based Capital View Hotel in the Eastern Region.

The exercise which was concluded on Saturday, July 11, 2020, saw all conference halls, corridors, rooms, bars, restaurants, gymnasium, vehicles, poolside and everywhere people converge disinfected to ensure that management, staff and patrons to the facility are protected from the threats posed by the pandemic.

General Manager of the Capital View Hotel, Wilfred Nii Korley Commodore in an interview reiterated the commitment of the management of the hotel to safeguard all persons who visit the facility through averting any possible outbreak of the virus.

He said the hotel, as part of measures to contain the COVID-19 pandemic, contracted Zoomlion Ghana Limited to disinfect the place to create a fear-free atmosphere for staff and visitors to go about their duties without hindrance.

He maintained that the Capital View Hotel, aside the disinfection exercise is implementing a number of covid-19 safety protocols.

These include a no face mask no entry policy, placing of veronica bucket at vantage points, fixing of sanitizer dispensers at all conference halls, rooms, entrances to rooms, bars, conference halls, gym, pool and restaurants, checking of temperatures, etc.

Though he admitted that the COVID-19 has taken a toll on the hospitality industry, Wilfred Nii Korley Commodore said the hotel, unlike other industry players remained open for business and still operating, adding that the facility has done its best to stay afloat.
