COVID-19: Africa Rugby Prez Sends Solidarity Message To Ghana Rugby [VIDEO]

President of Rugby Africa, Khaled Babbou has sent a solidarity message to the Ghana Rugby Football Union.

This comes after some five players of the Ghana Rugby Football Union have tested positive for the novel Coronavirus weeks ago.

Though they have fully recovered from the deadly disease, Mr. Babbou in a video chat with the President and Board Chairman of Ghana Rugby, Mr. Herbert Mensah, sent his solidarity message to the five players, the Ghana Rugby Football Union and the Ghanaians as a whole as the fight against the pandemic continues.

Meanwhile, Ghana has recorded 25,252 confirmed cases of the global pandemic after 264 new cases recorded as at July 14, 2020 according to the latest update from the Ghana Health Service.

About 21,397 persons have recovered from the disease, making Ghana’s active cases to sit at 3,716 while 139 persons have unfortunately lost their lives.
