COVID-19 Came To Teach Us Wisdom; Learn To Live With It - Kabilla To Ghanaians

CPP General Secretary, James Kwabena Bomfeh a.k.a Kabilla has advised Ghanaians to learn to live with the Coronavirus pandemic.

Kabila, addressing the impact of the Coronavirus (COVID-19) on the nation and with particular reference to the outbreak of the disease in some Senior High Schools in the country, noted that the disease came to teach Ghanaians wisdom about living a hygienic life.

He noted that despite how painful the disease stings, it has some positives that if checked would help the nation to overcome it.

According to him, the earlier all Ghanaians realize the disease has come to stay, the better it will be to take the precautionary measures to curb its spread.

"COVID-19 came to teach us wisdom. We should fear God and be disciplined. We haven't made up our minds to learn, so the number of cases keep increasing. If we become wise, the numbers will reduce," he said on Peace FM's Wednesday edition of 'Kokrokoo'.

The CPP stalwart further highlighted the safety protocols of washing hands with soap under running water, the use of hand sanitizers, the mandatory wearing of nose or face masks and minimizing human movements among others and therefore implored Ghanaians to abide by the protocols to reduce the virus infection rate.

"When you listen to the inconclusive research, we're told that we might live with this disease for the next 5 years to come. In this situation, this unpredictable situation, this chaotic situation, you're going to live with it. My opinion is that the better and the earlier we learn to live with it and try to be discipline, it will help us all,"
he stated.
