Take Lesson Notes From Beyoncé's Professionalism - Arnold Baidoo To Ghanaian Artistes

Entertainment Analyst, Arnold Asamoah Baidoo has advised Ghanaian artistes to take cues from their collaboration with international arts.

According to him, the local artistes shouldn't just do music with renowned international musicians for recognition, but also pick some good elements from them and introduce in their music concerts and performances.

Using Shatta Wale and Beyoncé's collaboration as an example, he explained although the two artistes had done the song ''Already'' together, as professional as Beyonce is, she ensured the official video for the song wasn't out until the time is due.

He said this because there were great expectations, if you like pressure, from Shatta Wale's fans to drop the video of the song earlier to prove he indeed was included in the official video and not just his voice would be captured on the music video.

Shatta Wale and the American music superstar, Beyoncé's collaboration is thought to be the greatest of all international collaborations in Ghana.

The Dancehall artiste, of course, didn't diappoint when he dropped his lines on the song.

Arnold Asamoah, speaking on ''Entertainment Review'' on Peace FM believed Shatta Wale couldn't provide a lot of details on the collaboration because of certain caveats in the contract he signed and the professionalism of Beyoncé.

Arnold stated, but for Beyoncé, Shatta Wale in his usual elements would have dropped an artwork or music clip earlier to prove to his fans he had indeed done music video with the pop queen.

He asked if he and other Ghanaian artistes like Stonebwoy who recently featured American singer Keri Hilson learn anything from them since they would have seen and known how professional they work and the seriousness they attach to their music.

''It should not just be going to the studio, collaborating and just walking out. We should be able to learn some basic elements from them," he urged.
