Agent: AC Milan And I Have Not Talked About Kwadwo Asamoah

The agent of Udineses Kwadwo Asamoah has admitted that he has met officials of AC Milan but denies reports that there has been any talk about the midfielder. The 22-year-old Ghanaian has been one of the better youngsters in Serie A this campaign and has been linked with moves to bigger teams. Despite the fact Udinese is set to play in Europe next season, reports continue to suggest that Asamoah will leave if offered the chance to play for a major European club. Milan are said to be interested in the services of Asamoah, who they reportedly see as a replacement for Andrea Pirlo, but his agent has denied that negotiations have begun. I did meet with [Milan director Ariedo] Braida, but can quite happily deny we talked about Kwadwo, Claudio Vagheggi is quoted as saying by Calciomercato.it. At this moment the transfer market is the last thing on the mind of Udinese players. We certainly cant be discussing negotiations just five days before such an important and decisive game [against Milan]. There is absolutely nothing in it and everyone is concentrated only on Sundays match. The lad is relaxed, he knows these rumours are normal, and is thinking only about the pitch. The same goes for his Udinese team-mate, Pablo Armero. Udinese are currently fourth in Serie A at the moment and a draw or better against champions Milan in Udine at the weekend will virtually guarantee them the final Champions League spot.
