A New Album & 'August Worship' Goes Virtual; A Unique Experience This Year! - Eric Jeshrun Hints

Ghanaian gospel recording artiste, worship leader and on-air personality, Eric Jeshrun has announced that his annual worship programme will come off this August, 2020.

Eric Jeshurun, who is the convenor of one of Ghana's largest worship Christian gatherings dubbed ''August Worship'', says this year's programme will go virtual due to the current pandemic.

In an interview with Peacefmonline.com on Wednesday, August 13, he said; "In spite of the easing of restrictions on social gatherings and church meetings, we find it still prudent to stick to our initial plan of giving our patrons and followers a unique virtual worship experience".

He also intimated that the virtual experience offers the opportunity ''for us to bring the same anointing and worshipful atmospheres to your families and home''.

It is quite evident that the COVID-19 pandemic has induced more creativity and enthusiasm in the gospel industry.

This year's event is also special because it features the release of Eric Jeshrun's latest album - Healing Streams - which features some of the best worship leaders from the continent.

August Worship is slated for Sunday, August 30; more details of this worshipful event will be relayed on the singer's social media handles.

Eric Jeshurun has further come out with a new single off the album titled "You Reign" featuring Joe Mettle, and the song can be accessed on iTunes, Spotify, Apple Music and all streaming platforms worldwide.

It will also be recalled that the ''Healing Streams'' singer released a refix of his ''Yahweh'' song last week, one of his original hits which has led to amazing testimonies from listeners across the world.

According to the artiste, ''the song is one for the season and his goal is to comfort and encourage the people of Africa and the rest of the world not to give up in these times and reminding believers of God’s sovereignty over all the earth and in their lives''.

Aside Jeshurun, music ministers like Joe Mettle and Akese Brempong among others have all recently released great songs and this is good news to the gospel fraternity as the songs remind believers of the love and kindness of God towards them, and the need for them to be appreciative of God's goodness and mercies.
