NPP 'Burned' All Nkrumah's Books To Erase His Achievements - Mr. Beautiful
Clement Bonnie, affectionately called Mr. Beautiful says the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) sabotaged the vision of Ghana's first President, Dr. Kwame Nkrumah.
Osagyefo Dr. Kwame Nkrumah liberated Ghana by gaining independence in 1957 from the claws and oppression of the colonial masters and historical accounts prove he had great agenda to develop the country but couldn't live to see through everything he had laid out.
However, it was expected that his vision and developmental plans would live on as successive governments were to implement them but some believe there is little or no proof that Dr. Nkrumah's good works have seen continuation in 63 years since Ghana became independent.
Speaking on UTV's ''United Showbiz'' with hostess Nana Ama Mcbrown, Mr. Beautiful accused the ruling government of having burned all Nkrumah's documents and books that he had outlined his vision for Ghana.
According to him, the NPP is responsible for what he believes is retardation of Ghana and ask Ghanaians to blame the party for wiping out Nkrumah's achievements, plans and works.
He asserted it was a plot to erase Dr. Kwame Nkrumah from the memories of Ghanaians.
