Women Must Dress In A Modest Manner - Deaconess Betty Armah (PHOTOS)

Betty Dzifa Armah, Deaconess of the Church of Pentecost, (Dr. Thomas Wyatt English Assembly),  has urged Christian women to dress modestly.

According to her, Christians are not to compromise on their dress code by exposing their breasts and revealing certain sensitive parts of their skin.

Speaking on the theme “Portraying God’s Glory In Your Profession” to climax the Women’s Ministry Week celebration of the Pentecost Church at the Dr. Wyatt Assembly, Deaconess Betty Armah stressed that women should apply Godly wisdom in their way of dressing.

You are a new creation; you don’t have to follow fashion blindly. Be mindful of the spirit of God living in you and be mindful of your body type before choosing or selecting a particular dress for church and workif you don’t feel comfortable in what you are wearing to work, its means God is prompting you to change it and must obey him…a glorious bride is one who has her trust in the Lord and seeks the Lord, one who is modest in her dressing and has a quiet and a gentle spirit, one who will not dress to kill but dresses in a very modest manner pleasing to God and the society...”, she stated.

She further averred; “we can and must dress in such a way that our clothing does not cause others to lust saying “If you dress in such a provocative manner you cause others to stumble and that is not a way a God fearing Christian sister should behave…Please be thoughtful of your brothers in the Lord and keep your chest, stomach, and thighs totally covered when you are in the church, at work and everywhere you go”.
