VRA Resettlement Trust Fund Embarks On Disinfection And Fumigation Exercise

The Volta River Authority (VRA) Resettlement Trust Fund in partnership with Moderpest has began an exercise to disinfect and fumigate schools, clinics, churches, and police posts in all VRA resettlement areas in the country.
 
The exercise which began on Tuesday at Dedeiso in the Fanteakwa North District of the Eastern Region by about 30 personnel from Moderpest saw the disinfection and fumigation of all public places is aimed at creating a safe environment for residents in wake of the coronavirus pandemic.
 
Akwasi Koranteng the Director of Moderpest who supervised the exercise in an interview with Citi News called on residents to continue adhering to the safety protocols even after the disinfection of their public places.
 
The Assistant Headmaster of Dedeso Roman Catholic D/A Primary & JHS Eric Aggrey who was appreciative of the gesture said the exercise will boost the safety of students and teachers.
 
The Assembly Man for Dedeso Nii Tettey could not hide his joy after the exercise.
