Once again, the business magnate has been rewarded for his outstanding duties to Ghana.

Dr. Ernest Ofori Sarpong has been conferred an Honorary Fellow of Chartered Institute of Credit Management.

Dr. Ernest Ofori Sarpong is the owner of Special Group of Companies, responsible for Special Ice mineral water, Special drinks and all special related products.

He also jointly controls several businesses in Ghana with his business partner and friend Osei Kwame, Chief Executive Officer of Despite Group of Companies.

They both own shares in Best Point Savings & Loans Limited in Ghana.

Dr Ofori Sarpong and his friend and brother Osei Kwame further formed the United 2 Co. Ltd which is a holding company for the U2 Salt Ltd. salt mining company, United Television (UTV Ltd) and Best Point Savings and Loans Co. Ltd.
