PPP To Elect Flagbearer On Saturday, September 12

It's approximately left with 91 days to the Presidential and Parliamentary elections and political parties have begun launching their campaigns as well as unveiled their party's flagbearers.

However, there are some parties which are yet to showcase their Presidential candidates and one is the Progressive People's Party.

The Progressive People's Party (PPP) is fortified to wrest power from the incumbent government and in line of acceptable practices, the party will soon reveal who leads them into the general elections.

The party's National Chairman, speaking to host Kwami Sefa Kayi on Peace FM's ''Kokrokoo'', has disclosed the PPP will on Saturday, September 12, 2020 elect its Presidential candidate.

Nana Ofori Owusu stressed that ''this weekend, on the 12th of September, we will elect our flagbearer at 7 pm. It will be telecast on our social media handles. The PPP will go live''.

He also revealed the party will launch its manifesto the following weekend at the Coconut Groove Hotel.

"The PPP will launch our manifesto on the 19th of September the same prime time, 7 pm," he stated.
