It's True I Patronized Okada But… – Manhyia North MP

Member of Parliament for Manhyia North, Hon. Collins Owusu Amankwah, has confirmed patronizing the service of Okada business due to heavy traffic.

According to him, even though he did patronize the service of the Okada riders, there was no legal transaction between them.

A Picture of Hon. Collins Owusu Amankwah patronizing the services of Okada popped up over the weekend and has since gone viral.

Reacting on UTV’s “Adekye Nsroma”, Hon. Opoku Amankwa said “ . . mine was not an okada but a good Samaritan motor rider who saw the need to help me out in my difficult moment. It was a motor lift and not an okada service and that is the difference''.

"The truth is I did not pay for the service of the okada rider because it has not yet been legalized in the country. If I paid for his service, it means I have commercialized his service and it was never like that. I did not pay for the service because he didn’t charge me for anything," he further stated.
