NDC Manifesto Is Full Of Empty Promises – Mame Yaa Aboagye

Deputy Communications Director of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP), Mame Yaa Aboagye says the NDC 2020 manifesto is nothing but “empty promises”.

According to her, Mr. Mahama cannot achieve his manifesto to Ghanaians.

Speaking to Peacefmonline.com after the NDC’s Manifesto Launch, Mame Yaa Aboagye said the “NDC’s manifesto is as naked as John Mahama because it’s full of empty promises”.

She added that most of the things said in the manifesto are Mr. Mahama’s failed promises saying “the NDC and John Mahama has no track record in fulfilling their manifesto promises. They said nothing new but  just repetition of the 2012 failed promises made to deceived Ghanaians . . . If  not repeated, then it’s something that Nana Addo Dankwah Akufo-Addo and Dr. Bawumia have already done or doing. He is no keeper of promises unlike President Akufo-Addo".

To her, the NPP has a superior record in fulfilling promises.

In the education sector, we promised free Senior High School and we have delivered; restoration of teacher and nursing trainee allowances, it has been restored…in terms of job creation, agriculture, health, in fact we have delivered about 80% of our promise…As for NPP, we are promise covenant-keeping party and better management of the economy.”

She urged Ghanaians to choose the next President based on the candidate's track record.
