NPP's Afia Akoto Donates Items To Royal Seed Orphanage At Awutu Senya West (PHOTOS)

Deputy Chief Executive Officer of MASLOC, Alberta Afia Akoto Nixon has made a donation to the Royal Seed Orphanage at Awutu Senya West in the Central Region.

The orphanage received bags of rice, water and other assorted items from the MASLOC Deputy CEO and her foundation, the AAN Humanitarian Foundation International. 

The donation, which was made to mark the birthday of Mrs. Afia Akoto, was also aimed at improving the lives of the children in the orphanage.

Led by a procession of the orphanage's cadet, Mrs. Afia Akoto and her husband Chief Biney, the Deputy National Organizer of the National Democratic Congress, were given a warm reception and a rapturous applause for the donation.

With the faces of the children beaming with smiles, Mrs. Afia Akoto used the opportunity to advise the children to live a good life and become great future leaders.

AAN Humanitarian Foundation International is a non-profit making organization founded by MASLOC Deputy CEO, Afia Akoto and assisted by her husband, Chief Biney Nixon.

The Foundation seeks to support and help children, youth, women and the less privileged in society discover their capabilities as well as resource them to become responsible leaders.

It further pledges unwavering support for gender equality and women empowerment, reduce child mortality, increase access to primary education, drastically reduce violence and sexual exploitation among women, young girls and children.

AAN Humanitarian Foundation was inaugurated at the Korle Bu Teaching Hospital on Friday, September 4, 2020.
