Manso Nkwanta is a constituency in the Ashanti Region and it's considered a safe seat for the New Patriotic Party (NPP).

Data in the past six elections: 1996-2016 shows that the NPP has been winning massively both presidential and parliamentary.

Nana Akufo-Addo in 2016 won by a huge margin of 85.1% and John Mahama garnered 14.3%.

Parliamentary

The incumbent Parliamentary candidate, Joseph Albert Quarm also won by a huge margin in 2016.

However, he was defeated by George Obeng during the NPP primaries.
