Subin constituency is in the Ashanti Region of Ghana. It's known to be the centre of Kumasi the regional capital and it’s considered as a stronghold of the New Patriotic Party (NPP).

This constituency votes massively for the ruling party both presidential and parliamentary per data compared from 1996-2016 elections.

The incumbent Member of Parliament is Eugene Boakye Antwi of the NPP. He is seeking to retain his seat in the upcoming December 7 elections.
