Movie Producers, Socrates Sarfo and Ola Michael clashed on Saturday's ''United Showbiz'' on UTV over the former's public outcry about being frustrated over the behaviour of his colleagues in the Creative Arts industry.

Socrates Sarfo, who has been lamenting to President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo to come to his aid following the treatment being meted out to him by industry colleagues, also disclosed he has not been remunerated since the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) came into power.

''If somebody is listening, they should tell the President that some of us are getting tired...The frustration is too much. We've been quiet for far too long and it looks some people feel being quiet means you're stupid. No! Being quiet is giving people time to reform. We've voted for a party. The President is doing whatever he can do but there are people who don't understand why they're even in office. There are people who don't understand and value whatever they have been assigned to do. Somebody should tell the President; something is wrong.

''...We can't come and sit here on an empty stomach for four years. We finish and we go and beg friends for food and at the end of the day, people sit in certain places and they want to be carried in palanquins and want us to be their praise-singers. For what!'', Socrates Sarfo said in his capacity at the Director for Creative Arts at the National Commission on Culture (NCC) while in an interview on Okay FM's ''Best Entertainment''.

Days after that public outburst, Socrates, speaking to host Nana Ama Mcbrown on United Showbiz, sought to clarify issues regarding his heartbreak with the NPP.

According to him, his remarks were not because he didn't have confidence in the Akufo-Addo administration, but rather he sought to bring the attention of the President and the Creative Arts Minister to some pertinent issues.

He said his frustration was mainly about the lack of information flow, which after his outrage, has been rectified and is now okay with his job.

But Ola Michael smirked while Socrates was clarifying himself, prompting Nana Ama to ask him (Ola) why the laughter.

With a mischievous glint in his eyes, Ola Michael jumped in and while ridiculing his colleague producer asked him not to back down on his previous words.
