STATEMENT: Hon George Mireku Duker Must Be Sanctioned – Group Calls Parliamentary Disciplinary Committee
The entire Concerned Youth of NPP Western Region together with its various Volunteer Groups call on the Parliamentary Disciplinary Committee to call Mr. George Mireku Duker to order, he doesn't deserve to be called honorable at the House of Great men and women who understand the concept of politics and governance.
We by this special notice, petition the parliamentary Disciplinary Committee to call him to order, for attacking his own Regional Secretary and a Presidential Staffer Mr. Charles Bissue with a club leaving with a badly bruised face.
This incident took place on Monday 21st of September at Workshop organized for NPP Parliamentary aspirants by the NPP at KINSTEL HOTEL, Apollo, Takoradi.
This same Mr. Charles Bissue in 2016 supported him (George Mireku Duker) even in opposition to annexing the Tarkwa-Nsuaem seat.
Lest we forget, one of the most disturbing and distasteful character traits of Mr. George Mireku Duker, MP for Tarkwa-Nsuaem Constituency is, he has consistently displayed from being a Municipal Chief Executive to a Member Of Parliament is promiscuity, what I will term as a complete lack of self-discipline. Mr. Duker is morally not fit to criticize or spread falsehood about people because issues surrounding him is beyond criticism.
As a Member of Parliament, he has caused unforgivable wrath on his own hometown concerning the chieftaincy issue.
Mr. Duker is a nonperforming MP, hence is the torchbearer of evil doings in Tarkwa-Nsuaem, no wonder he physically attacked a Presidential Staffer who also doubles as the Western Regional Secretary of the NPP in a meeting held two days ago at Kingstel Hotel, Apollo, Takoradi.
The violence we say is the hallmark of Mr. Mireku Duker, we the indigenes of Western Region and true members of the New Patriotic Party will not endorse such wrongdoing which is denting the image of the party as well as the President. Arise Western Region.
Mr. George Mireku Duker, MP for Tarkwa-Nsuaem Constituency should be called to order for attacking the Western Regional Secretary of the ruling New Patriotic Party at a workshop held two days ago. Our question is should a sitting member of Parliament do this to a whole Regional Secretary and a Presidential Staffer. Mr. Mireku Duker is evil and must be punished if not we the staunch members of the Party will campaign tirelessly and massively against him to lose. After attacking Mr. Bissue, Duker immediately rushed to the media for a cover-up, claiming he has been attacked by the Regional Secretary which is false.
Mr. George Mireku Duker doesn't respect his personality, he sleeps with young girls in the constituency and pays them off with millions of cedis from the MP's common fund, which is to be used for developmental projects and others, paying goro boys to attack Regional Executives and some youth in the Constituency. Mr. George Mireku Duker must resign. We don't want Mr. Mireku Duker as our Member of Parliament. Tarkwa-Nsuaem deserves better. We don't want such an arrogant, wicked selfish-centered and evil man as our MP. Mr. George Mireku Duker can't point to the public any single project he has constructed. He has mismanaged the funds from the NHIS, 1 million per Constituency, MPs common fund, and others. Therefore he has made the party unattractive and useless in the Constituency.
*In the 2016 Elections, Charles Bissue played a major role in the election, and based on that, His Excellency President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo mentioned him as one of the best hardworking people who helped in the 2016 elections Victory in the Western Region and in Ghana.*
Because of his love and selflessness for the NPP, Charles Bissue has been an example for us ( especially the youth in Western Region)
