Govt Disinfect Senior High Schools In Western Region

Senior High Schools in the Western Region have commended President Akufo-Addo and government for measures put in place in the fight against coronavirus pandemic.

Speaking to Appiah Danquah of Rok FM, Mr. Samuel Acquah, Assistant Housemaster of Fijai Senior High School who spoke on behalf of the schools, said measures put in place from day one that the virus arrived in the country particularly the schools is something commendable.

According to him, although the spread of the virus has reduced drastically, government has not relented on its efforts on the measures put in place to receive form two and other students in schools and has pledged the schools' commitment to collaborate with government to provide quality education to the school children.

Mr. Acquah said this during disinfection exercise across the second circle schools in the Western Region by Zoomlion Ghana supported by the government.

Sector Control Manager of Zoomlion, Samuel Adu said the company is honoured to support government in the fight against coronavirus pandemic.
