NDC Will Create 250,000 Jobs Every Year In Creative Economy - Rex Omar

Legendary musician, Rex Omar has appealed to Ghanaians, particularly players in the Creative Arts industry, to rally support behind the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) flagbearer, John Dramani Mahama to become President again.

According to him, the second coming of John Mahama will see a major improvement in the Creative Arts industry.

Speaking on Neat FM's 'Entertainment GH' with Ola Michael, Rex Omar touted the NDC 2020 manifesto dubbed "The People's Manifesto" for the Creative Arts sector, reiterating that the NDC will set up a legal aid to protect the intellectual properties of the sector players, establish a welfare fund to cater for the needy and underprivileged, ensure a pension scheme that will take care of the aged in the industry and streamline the industry by bringing the various associations and entities like MUSIGA, FIPAG and others under one umbrella among other promises.

Rex Omar added that the NDC will create 250,000 jobs every year in the creative economy, adding that the party has the interest of the Creative Arts players at heart and will do everything to better the sector.

He, therefore, is optimistic the best candidate to win this year's historic elections should be former President John Mahama.
