Deputy Communications Director of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP), Mame Yaa Aboagye says Ghanaians should ignore NDC flagberarer, John Mahama with his fake promises.

According to her, people have witnessed sterling performance of NPP’s government led by President Akufo-Addo which has improved the living conditions of Ghanaians.

“President Akufo Addo’s work is visible for everyone to see, We are not promising the impossible unlike the NDC who captured ghost projects in their green book.”

The NDC Presidential candidate, John Dramani Mahama says he will, within one year in office, eliminate the double track system under the Free SHS programme of the incumbent government.

Addressing a community durbar of Chiefs and farmers at Fawohoyeden in the Asunafo North district of the Ahafo Region, Mr. Mahama said his government will embark on a fast-track programme to complete the abandoned Community Day Schools, expand infrastructure in existing schools and include private schools in the free SHS programme.

Mame Yaa said; “So who should start a project for him (John Mahama) to come back and manage…a policy he did not give birth to, a policy he vigorously campaigned against, a policy he never believed in, a policy he constantly belittled…was he not the one who said anything free is fake?….We prefer our Moses (Nana Addo) who delivered us from Pharaoh (NDC) to lead us into the promised land for another stealing performance.''

"Mahama keeps throwing dust into the eyes of Ghanaians by faking to tentacle the scope of Akufo-Addo’s Free SHS programme so that private schools could be captured…Was he not the same man who said he would never spend GHS2 billion on Free SHS if he were President? Ghanaians deserve better than this. Now everybody is talking about Akufo-Addo and how Free SHS policy has lessened the financial burdens on some parents. That is why he's going about faking promises...Most voters in the rural communities, smaller towns and even some NDC members are voting for Akufo-Addo because of Free SHS policy”, Mame Yaa added.

She further called on the electorates to vote massively for the NPP and President Akufo-Addo, come December 7 elections.
