Nineteen Players Arrive In Black Stars Camp Ahead Of Mali, Qatar Friendlies

Ghana coach Charles Kwablan Akonnor has almost a complete set as nineteen players arrive at Black Stars camp for the international friendlies against Mali and Qatar.

The players led by captain Andre Ayew and vice-captain Thomas Partey are currently based in Antalya ahead of the games this weekend.

Coach C.K Akonnor named a 23-man squad for the matches, but goalkeeper Richard Ofori, forward John Antwi and Lumor Agbenyenu opted out late for different reasons.

Akonnor immediately replaced John Antwi and Lumor Agbenyenu with Caleb Ekuban and Tarique Fosu.

Six of the debutants named in the squad have already arrived, including FC Nordsjaelland superstar Kamaldeen Sulemana.

The team will hold another training on Wednesday after their first exercise on Tuesday as preparations continue for Friday’s game against the Eagles of Mali.

Ghana will then play Qatar three days later.

The players in camp are as follows:
