In the realms of the spirit, the former National Women’s Organizer for the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC), Madam Anita De-Soso says her party has already won the 2020 general elections.

The NDC stalwart says the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) government led by President Nana Akufo-Addo has failed to live up to expectations of Ghanaians, indicating the sign that God has already given the power to the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the yet to be conducted December 7 polls.

Speaking on Okay FM’s 'Ade Akye Abia' Morning Show, Madam Anita De-Soso added that the only task of the opposition NDC is to guard and nurture the victory to fruition by working extra hard till the results are declared in the NDC’s favour.

“The only thing I can say about the 2020 general election is that God has already given us the power but it is left to us to work hard to make it a reality; we have to do our part to guard and nurture it to fruition because many of the promises of the NPP in 2016 have not been fulfilled”.

“Now, the NPP can organize a press conference to show toilet facilities they have done and then after the people who construct them will come and demand their money. The dams they constructed have flooded and carried people away. Wherever they lie, they are being exposed,” she asserted.

She alleged that the governing New Patriotic Party (NPP) is doing everything they can as they tried in 2008 to push the election to a second round by changing many things in the electoral system with the help of the Electoral Commission.

“In 2012 we worked very hard and won and in this year’s election we are working hard but because the NPP is in power, they are changing so many things. How come that up till now we don’t have any register and yet the EC is asking the Presidential and Parliamentary Candidates to file their nominations?” she asked.
