Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia marks his 57th birthday today, October 7 and as part of celebrations, there have been an outpour of well wishes for him.

Former NDC Central Regional Minister and a social commentator, Bernard Allotey Jacobs extolled the Vice President saying, ''the new political sensation in our Ghanaian political space; the prolific political stricter, Dr Mahamudu Bawumia; I wish you a happy birthday; long life, grace and prestige; your humility will raise you to the top ladder of governance; stay blessed and enjoy your birthday'', in a text message read by host Kwami Sefa Kayi on Peace FM's ''Kokrokoo''.

Making submissions on the same programme, the Central Regional Minister, Kwamena Duncan also spoke profoundly about the Vice President.

According to him, President Nana Akufo-Addo has been vindicated by his selection of Dr. Bawumia as his Vice President, stressing there could never have been a better Vice President for Ghana in this current dispensation than Dr. Bawumia.

He described Dr. Bawumia as a ''true definition of a Vice President''.

"We couldn't have bargained for a better Vice President than we did . . . in fact, he is a thinking Vice President, exploring Vice President, an innovative Vice President; he fits the true real definition of a Vice President," he stated.
