NPP Will Make You Proud - Dan Botwe To Late Mfantseman MP

Member of Parliament (MP) for Okere constituency, Dan Botwe has urged members of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) to continue the legacy of the deceased Mfantseman MP, Ekow Quansah Hayford.

Hon. Ekow Quansah Hayford met his untimely death in the early hours of Friday, October 9 by highway robbers.

According to Peace FM's correspondent in the Central Region, Ibrahim Dadzie, the MP was shot dead while returning from a campaign trip.

The robbers reportedly questioned the identity of the deceased who answered by saying he is a Member of Parliament and incurred the wrath of one of the robbers.

The robber blamed him for the hardships he and his gang are facing and annoyingly shot him twice resulting in his death.

Speaking to host Kwami Sefa Kayi on 'Kokrokoo' on Peace FM, Hon. Dan Botwe disclosed the character of the deceased MP saying he was a fun loving, affable and hardworking Member of Parliament.

He stressed that "he is a loving person, very playful and a character that arouses laughter all the time, and one of the very hardworking Members of Parliament."

''He is a great loss to Mfantseman, to Central Region, to the entire Ghana and Parliament.''

Hon. Dan Botwe advised the NPP leadership and members to work hard to achieve the ultimate goal of the party in honor of the late MP.

''We cannot fail him. That one, we can promise him; that we will go all out...Ekow will inspire us and we will work so hard to achieve the aspirations that a young man, who got so many years ahead of him, would have done'', he stated.
