All MPs To Get Police Guards - Interior Minister Briefs Parliament
The Ministry of Interior has agreed to provide Members of Parliament with police bodyguards.
In the interim, 200 police personnel have been detailed to provide personal security for 200 MPs.
this is because some MPs who are already Ministers of State already have police body guards.
The Minister of Interior, Mr Ambrose Dery made this known when he briefed Parliament on Tuesday, October 13, 2020
