Vice President of Ghana, Dr. Alhaji Mahamudu Bawumia has commissioned a 5km Effiduase town roads for the people of Efiduase- Asokore.
He also commissioned a 12-unit classroom block at the Effiduase senior high commercial school to make room for increased enrollment as a result of the double-track system
According to the people Efiduase- Asokore, this is the first time in the story of Ghana for the area to have a well-constructed road – they lauded their Member of Parliament (MP), Dr. Nana Ayew Afriyie for necessitating the move.
The Effiduase hene, Nana Adu Ameyaw II, who was speaking at a durbar on the commissioning of road thanked the Nana Addo-led government for fulfilling their promise by fixing the township’s deplorable roads.
Nana Ameyaw II also extended appreciation to the government for introducing the free SHS policy which he said, “has reduced the child labour menace at Effiduase”
