The Minister for Food and Agriculture,  Hon. Dr. Owusu Afriyie Akoto has predicted a humiliating defeat for former President John Dramani Mahama come December 7 polls.

The Honourable Minister,  who has earned the accolade Dr. Planting for Food and Jobs,  following massive and unprecedented successes achieved under his leadership at the Ministry,  says Former President Mahama stands no chance at all, adding that Ghanaians are ready to give Nana Akufo Addo another resounding victory to continue his good works. 

He said after visiting almost every part of the country and seeing how Ghanaians have benefited from the laudable policies and programmes of the NPP administration led by Nana Akufo Addo,  there is no point in Former President Mahama worrying himself to seek re-election. 

"If you visit every part of the country you will see the significant impact policies and programmes of government have had on the people; I can say on authority that Former President Mahama and the NDC are just wasting their time," He said. 

"I can see humiliating defeat staring at the face of Mr. Mahama and the NDC.  Ghanaians will teach him and his NDC big lessons they will never forget" the Minister assured.

The Honourable Minister who made the prediction when addressing party members at UCEW- K Campus to crown a Health Walk cum Campaign organized by the Kwadaso Constituency branch of the party on Saturday,  said Ghanaians would massively reward President Àkufo Addo and the NPP for good work done over the last four years. 

Dr. Afriyie Akoto, who represented the Kwadaso Constituency two times as its Member of Parliament,  said the time had come for the constituency to once again assert its position as one of the highest earners of votes for the NPP in the Ashanti Region. 

"We must all work hard to ensure that we achieve the 86,000 figure for the NPP in the region.  I urge every one of you to throw your support behind the Parliamentary Candidate, Dr. Kingsley Nyarko" He stated
