Serial Caller and a member of the National Democratic Congress, Mr. Frank Kwaku Appiah popularly known as Appiah Stadium has described President Nana Addo Dankwah Akufo-Addo as a good man.

According to him the President within his short stay in office has done a lot for the country more especially the people of Ashanti region.

Speaking on Okay FM’s 'Ade Akye Abia 'program, he appealed to the Ashanti Regional Chairman of the New Patriotic Party, Mr. Bernard Antwi Bosiako to use his precious time and energy to focus on letting Ghanaians know what the President has done rather than attacking the integrity of former President John Dramani Mahama who happens to be his godfather.

"I may not agree with the President on some of his policies but I will not also attack him without any provocation," he said.

The President over the years has shown leadership and I will not do anything to disrespect him for some of the things he has done for me.

"I remember very well when I was arrested by the Ashanti regional police command for speaking against the President, he called to let me understand that politics is not about insults and also ensured my release by disassociating himself from the case and even made his Communications Director, Eugene Arhin bring me some 'brown envelope'. I may not agree with him on some of the issues but I will not disregard him," he added.

The President is a good man and I have seen the massive development he has brought to the people of Ashanti and that is what his people should be committed to and not be insulting John Dramani Mahama.
