The First Lady, Mrs Rebecca Akufo-Addo, on Tuesday said it is an undisputable fact that the New Patriotic Party (NPP) Administration has worked so hard to turn the fortunes of the country around in its first term in office.

She said it was, therefore, important that Ghanaians gave President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo four more years to do more.

Speaking to a cross-section of electorates at the Korley-Klottey Constituency in the Greater Accra Region, the First Lady said the President was determined to keeping to all his promises.

Market women, traders and party faithful at the Odawna Pedestrian Market were not left out in the First Lady’s visit.

She later made brief stops at Adabraka and Art market at the old Rex Cinema, near the Accra Golf Pitch, and interacted with market women, traders, commercial (trotro) drivers and other party faithful at the Tema Lorry Station.

A representative of traders at the Odawna Pedestrian Market, Auntie Esi, and Madam Ashiokor Nortey of the Tema Station Market, thanked the Government for thinking about the people, especially women and children.

Aunty Esi recounted the establishment of the Pedestrian Market by an NPP government and the construction of a 530-meter drain, the renovation of market sheds, building of toilet facility, a health post and the ongoing construction of a crèche for the traders at Odawna.

The First Lady was accompanied by Mr Prince Appiah Debrah, NPP Parliamentary Candidate for Korley Klottey, Nii Adjei Tawaih, Municipal Chief Executive, Mr Patrick Yaw Boamah, Member of Parliament for Okaikwei Central, and Deputy Minister of Water Resources and Sanitation, and Mr Mike Oquaye Jnr, Ghana’s Ambassador to India, among other party officials.
