VIDEO: Shatta Wale Storms Kumasi And Throws Money On The Streets

Ghana's Dancehall king Shatta Wale, known in private life as Charles Nii Armah Mensah Jnr, has once again stamped his authority as the music artiste with the largest fan base in Ghana.

The “Dancehall King” hit maker and his entire team touched down in Kumasi on Thursday, November 5, 2020 for a one-week media tour in the Ashanti region. Upon his arrival in the garden city, Shatta Wale was given rousing welcome only kings and presidents can get.

Shatta Wale was met at the airport by teeming supporters and had cultural troupe complete with a colorfully dressed flower girl who presented a bouquet to him. Shatta Wale sprays money on his Kumerican fans as they welcome him to Kumasi.

The “Taking Over” Singer and his long convoy drove through the principal streets in the Ashanti regional capital and larger crowd followed him throughout the entire drive.

Shatta stood on the sunroof of his car and acknowledged cheers from fans that had blocked the streets just to catch a glimpse of him and waved at them. Intermittently, Shatta Wale threw money into the crowd gathered around his.
