I'm Not A Slay Queen - Sista Afia

Ghanaian singer, Sista Afia has rejected the slay queen tag on her.

The singer says she doesn't want to associate herself nor any person to link her with the word slay queen.

Slay queen has become an entertainment jargon which symbolizes a lady who is concerned with how expensive she wants to appear and will do everything to maintain a posh lifestyle.

Sista Afia, in an interview with Abeiku Santana with Okay FM's Drive Time show, added another version saying slay queens are thought to be prostitutes and she feels uncomfortable with the name.

"Now, everybody is making slay queen like an Ashawo thing. So, I don't want to even have that name on me . . . I don't really want anything to do with the name," she asserted.
