Kate Gyamfua Donates To Techimantia Polyclinic

National Women Organiser of the governing New Patriotic Party, Kate Gyamfua, has donated some items to the Techimantia Polyclinic in the Tano South Constituency of the Ahafo Region.

The items, first in a list of other consignments to follow, were donated to replace some items that were seized by opposition NDC National Women Organiser, Dr Louisa Hannah Bissiw, after the 2016 general election.
It would be recalled that the NDC national women organiser, after losing the Tano South Parliamentary Seat, sent her party boys to seize hospital equipment donated by her to the Polyclinic.

No turning back
However, presenting the new items, the NPP National Women Organiser, assured staff of the Polyclinic that the party shall not, under any circumstance, go back to seize the items.

“We are promising that as MP is saying, we shall be bringing more of the items by next week. But while we leave, nothing will bring us back to come and pack them away. It is a taboo. So, what we are saying is that, we will come and help you. These are not the only items that need to be brought here. We also need to expand the hospital facilities so that patients can have comfort when they come here. So that too, we are working on that and will come back to support you.” Ms Gyamfua said.

Madam Gyamfua was supported by NPP Member of Parliament for the area who doubles as the Ahafo Regional Deputy Minister, Benjamin Sekyere.
The donated items include brand new wheel chairs, walking stands, pairs of clutches and 30 boxes of adult diapers.

Other items are surgery equipment, 50 packs of bottle waters, 30 packs of toilet roll, 15 gallons of liquid soap and 10 gallons of disinfectants.

Receiving the items, Dr Samuel K Togbe, Medical Director of the Techimantia Polyclinic, expressed his appreciation to the NPP women organiser for the support.
He assured Ms Gyamfua that the items would be put to good use.
