Mahama Has No Vision And Knowledge To Continue The Free SHS - Bawumia
Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia has said former President John Mahama has no vision and knowledge to implement the free education policy of the Akufo-Addo government.
Dr Bawumia made reference to some statements by former President John Mahama that the free Senior High School (SHS) could be feasible only in twenty years’ time and that even if he had two billion cedis, he would never spend it on the free SHS.
Dr Mahamudu Bawumia made these comments when he commissioned the 10th astro turf pitch in Zongo communities across Ghana christened Sheikh Osman Nuhu Sharbutu Sports Complex in honour of the National Chief Imam, Sheikh Dr Osman Nuhu Sharbutu.
Dr Mahamudu Bawumia further stated that, before the NPP came to power in 2017, the whole Ghana had only two astro turf pitches but the Nana Addo-led government has built 29 within the last four years with 10 out of the 29 in the Zongo communities.
He continued that naysayers doubted Nana Addo’s promise of developing the Zongo communities but he has delivered beyond doubt.
Dr Mahamudu Bawumia also advised parents to guide their children to stay out of trouble as the nation goes into the general elections.
