Abronye DC Involved In A Near-Fatal Accident, 4 Persons Injured

The convoy of the Bono Regional Chairman Kwame Baffoe Abronye has been involved in a road accident at Berekum-Drobo.

According to a statement copied to Peacefmonline.com, the incident occurred Sunday evening, 29th November 2020 when the Regional team was returning from a campaign rally organized at Atuna and Drobo in the Jaman South Constituency.

"At Domfete near Berekum an unknown vehicle with registration number GN 4656 Y entered the convoy crashed into the Toyota Hilux belonging to the 2nd Vice Chairperson of the Party Doris Asoma which caused her car to bumped into that of the Bono Regional Chairman, somersaulting severally, veering off the road and overturning into a ditch thereafter."

"The vehicle is damaged beyond repairs, meanwhile, the four persons were rushed to Berekum Holy family hospital, treated, and have been discharged accordingly," the stated read.

Members of the party have been asked to remain calm, resolut and fight until a resounding victory is secured in the December 7th elections.
