NPP Global Medical Team Embark On Free Medical Outreach For Residents

The NPP Global Medical Team in collaboration with NPP-USA has embarked on free medical outreach exercise for the residents in Ketu South constituency. The health outreach exercise was to screen, educate, and treat if possible some of the pressing health issues confronting the residents in the area which has been a burden on them.

The medical outreach exercise is an initiative of the New Patriotic Party branch in the United States of America to cater for the health needs of the vulnerable ones in some deprived areas across the country.

Although the exercise is an initiative of the New Patriotic Party, it takes care of everyone no matter their political affiliation.

This year's exercise which was held in Ketu South constituency saw a massive attendance.

Speaking in an interview with UTV news, the Municipal Chief Executive for Ketu South, Elliot Edem Agbenowor observed that, the exercise has been beneficial to the residents, adding, the move by the NPP USA means it is the only political party which has people at heart.

"Akufo-Addo's fever has resonated with the people..." he added.

The head of operations of the NPP Global Medical Team, Fred Okyere, said addressing the health needs of the people is not about making empty promises but rather, bringing to their doorsteps measures that can give solutions to their health problems.

The Chairperson of the NPP USA, Obaa Yaa Frimpong said the massive attendance shows how the people care about their health. She also used the opportunity to appeal to electorates to give the NPP another term in the upcoming general elections.

The deputy Nasara Coordinator, NPP USA, Alhaji Saani Ibrahim stated that the people have now realized that, the NDC has nothing good to offer and he's optimistic that, there will be a significant improvement in votes coming December 7.

Some logistics like motorcycles and 1000 pieces of T-shirts were donated to the Ketu South constituency by NPP-USA to support their campaign.
