The former President said the next NDC government would review the structure of the Minerals Development Fund, to ensure that mining communities such as Oda and Akwatia benefited immensely from the mining activities.

He explained that the Free Primary Healthcare captured in the manifesto was to give an unrestricted access of quality healthcare to all Ghanaians by ensuring that no patient would be demanded to pay any fee before attended to, in any public health facility.

Mr Mahama said plans were advanced to expand the Oda government hospital in his next government and promised that the Oda sports stadium and the collapsed Oda Sawmills would be rehabilitated to provide jobs for the people in the area.
