2020 Elections: The Moderates Should Prevail On The Outliners For The Sake of NDC's Own Future - Afenyo-Markin Advises

Member of Parliament (MP) for Efutu constituency, Alexander Kwamina Afenyo-Markin has advised the members and supporters of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) to tone down on their nationwide protests.

Hon. Afenyo-Markin asked the NDC to behave within the laws of the country to address their election grievances.

He cited the action of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in 2012 when the party and their then Presidential candidate, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo contested the results of the elections.

According to him, although the NPP had been short-changed in the 2012 elections, their Presidential candidate was calm in his reaction and didn't incite the party members and supporters like the NDC is doing today.

"The moderates in the NDC should prevail on the outliners for the sake of the party's own future and the peace of Ghana. It's very important,"  Hon. Afenyo-Markin urged the NDC faithfuls on Peace FM's ''Kokrokoo''.
