President-elect of the United States of America, Joe Biden has sent out a congratulatory letter to President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo on his re-election as President of Ghana.⁣

Biden, who represented the Democratic Party in the November 2020 elections, in the letter expressed optimism in working with the Ghanaian President.⁣

In the letter which was published by the Director of Communications at the Presidency, Eugene Arhin on his Facebook page, Mr Biden said “Dear President Akufo-Addo, thank you for your kind words and well wishes. I am sorry that we have not yet had the opportunity to connect by phone.⁣
