Sam Pyne Blasts Ghanaians For Disregarding COVID-19 Protocols

Ashanti Regional Secretary of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP), Sam Pyne has advised Ghanaians to stop justifying their actions by blaming politicians for the rise in COVID-19 cases in the country.

According to him, the political campaigns cannot be said to be the cause of the sudden increase in the numbers but rather called on the citizenry to change their behavior towards the disease.

He noted that the habit of some Ghanaians not wearing nose masks and refusing to adhere to all the protocols has contributed to the rapid infections.

Speaking on Peace FM's ''Kokrokoo'', Sam Pyne asked why a Ghanaian would blame poiticians and refuse to protect themselves and others from contracting the viral disease.

''Let's even assume that it's the failure of the politician or it is at the instance of the politician that has brought about this; is there no essence in you protecting yourself? Is there no wisdom in protecting yourself?''
