3 Communities In Nzema East Get First-Ever Community Junior High School

The people of Agyan, Domunli, and Akonu three adjoining communities expressed great satisfaction to Ghana National Petroleum Corporation (GNPC) for building the First-Ever Community Junior High School for them.

Three communities namely, Agyan, Domunli, and Akonu in the Nzema East Municipality of the Western Region have had their first-ever community Junior High School.

The school was built by the government of Ghana funded by the Ghana National Petroleum Corporation (GNPC) Foundation.

The Executive Direc6tor of GNPC Foundation, Dr. Dominic Eduah speaking to the media said, the project forms part of the Corporate Social Responsibility(CSR) of the foundation therefore they are happy to the school block is in has been built for the communities.

"Education in actual sense is the key to development and this is not the first time we have put up such a block, we have done so many things to help the people across the length and breadth of the country and we are happy to embarking on our Corporate Social Responsibility(CSR).”

The natives could not believe their eyes when the GNPC foundation was hardening over the 4-unit classroom block to them.

The pupils who used to sit under tree recounts and expressed their joy for the completion of the school block.

They said the new building will facilitate learning proceedings, adding that they will study assiduously in order to achieve their aspirations.
