Model of African Union Summit To Be Held On AU Day

As part of the AU day, there will be a youth summit called Model of African Union which is based on the theme, �Accelerating Youth Development for Sustainable Development" at the International conference Center for free on Thursday at 10 am in the morning. The event is put together by Ministry of foreign Affairs with the simple aim of allowing young ones to act in the shoes of our Opinion leaders, presidents for that matter. Leader of organization Mr. John Armah explained the summit as: � the Model African Union provides participants or otherwise Delegates the role to play as Heads of States and simulate a typical African Union Heads of State Summit. He also added that, entry to this Conference is free, but one must pre-register by sending His or CV to [email protected] before Tuesday, the 24th of May. The question of who and who can take part in the event was answered as, Participants cut across Youth Leaders in Ghana and other Youth engaged in Diplomacy across Africa and delegates upon acceptance will be required to debate amongst themselves on the Theme:" Accelerating Youth Development for Sustainable Development". He further on stressed that after an opening session at the Plenary, Delegates will now be ushered into group stages for deliberations, an outcome document will eventually be submitted to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to be submitted to the African Union by Ghana's Mission to the AU.
