COVID-19: Don't Let Your Guard Down; Continue With The Protocols - GHS To Ghanaians

Dr. Patrick Kuma Aboagye, Director-General of the Ghana Health Service (GHS), has cautioned Ghanaians not to let their guard down in the nation's fight against the COVID-19 pandemic.

Ghana's COVID-19 active cases stand at 1,362 with 86,530 recoveries across the country.

The daily new cases of the disease has seen a significant reduction from hundreds to forty-six (46), according to data provided by the GHS.

Speaking in an interview with Kwami Sefa Kayi on Peace FM's 'Kokrokoo' programme, Dr. Patrick Kuma Aboagye asked Ghanaians not become swollen-headed by the statistics and disregard the COVID-19 protocols.

He advised the citizenry to continue to adhere to the protocols, particularly the wearing of nose masks until there is either no trace of the disease or extinguish its impact in Ghana.

"It's minimized because of what me and you together with the health sector and media has done, but we have to continue. It shall resurface if you lose guard," he urged.
