No Local Feature Films On TV Again From July 1 - FIPAG Bans Film Producers

The Film Producers Association of Ghana (FIPAG) has issued a statement warning film producers or movie makers not to sell feature films to any Television station in Ghana.

The directive takes effect from 1st July this year.

FIPAG also stated that all feature films already sold to TV stations can be shown until agreed date expires and then, there shouldn't be a renewal of contract.

This therefore means no TV station in Ghana is allowed to show feature films again.

FIPAG has urged their members to comply with the directives and failure to do will attract a sanction or penalty.

The Public Relations Officer of FIPAG, Mawuli Peter Ekpei spoke to Akwasi Aboagye on Peace FM's 'Entertainment Review' programme.
