The Member of Parliament (MP) for Juaboso, Kwabena Mintah Akandoh says the government seems ‘unconcerned’ and ‘relaxed’ in the fight against the deadly coronavirus.

As of 10th June 2021, Ghana’s active COVID-19 cases stood at 1,213, according to the latest figures of the Ghana Health Service.

Of that number, 9 and 13 are in critical and severe conditions, respectively.

Since mid-March 2020, a total of 94,699 cases of the disease have been recorded in Ghana up to date.

This according to Kwabena Mintah Akandoh is “worrying” in an interview with NEAT FM’s morning show ‘Ghana Montie’.
