Founder and Leader of the International Central Gospel Church, Pastor Mensah Otabil has called out musician Kidi on social media following his recent altercation with gospel musician, Diana Hamilton.

Kidi was called out on the ICGC mother church, Christ Tempel’s Facebook page to come for Sunday church service because it’s been a long time he stepped foot in the church.

This comes after the musician has swept home countless award plaques from the 2021 Vodafone Ghana Music Awards which was held last week. The award night saw a tight challenge between Ghanaian gospel musician, Diana Hamilton and afrobeat singer Kidi as they kept equalizing taking those awards.

However, Diana Antwi Hamilton beat Kidi for the ultimate grand prize as she won the artiste of the year title to her credit.

That seemingly annoyed Kidi and he stormed out of the awards show. A video that went viral on social media captured Kidi angrily walking out and for his car. It appears Kidi missed that Sunday’s church service. He didn’t go and thank God for his favour and grace after winning big at the VGMAs.

Hence his church, headed by Pastor Mensah Otabil publicly called him out to come for last Sunday’s church. However, we do not know how it ended, whether Kidi honoured the invite or not.

As usual, thE 2021 VGMA award has been met with some controversies, whilst some people believed that Kidi should have won the artiste of the year award, others also have absolutely no contention about Mrs Diana Hamilton winning.

They both worked hard and they have been appreciated accordingly.
