Lady Precious Is Miss Kidi Ghana 2021

Lady Precious, an 11-year-old sixth-grade student of Believers School in Accra has been crowned 2021 Miss Kidi Ghana.

The grand final of the first beauty pageant for kids under the age of 12 was held on Saturday with a beautiful display of Ghanaian fashion, arts, and culture.

Lady Precious who has been exceptional during the seven-week pageant was the top-performer on the night beating 14 other delegates.

Afua Etruwa Aduonum, an eight-year-old student of Ascot School was adjudged the first runner-up, Amberlyn a six-year-old student of British Columbia College emerged second runner-up while Kaitlin, a student of the Child of Light School was named the third runner-up.

Madam Afua Asantewaa, the Executive Director of ASKOF Production, organizers of the pageant, in her speech at the glamorous final held at GNAT Hall up in Accra said she was excited after claiming a slice of history with the first pageant for kids in Ghana.

According to Madam Asantewaa, the pageant was faced with a little hitch at the start but they were able to stand by their principles to bring out the best from the little kids.

She congratulated all winners of the maiden edition of the pageant, saying that the platform represents the first step of becoming future top models who would raise high the flag of Ghana on the international stage.

This year's pageant sponsored McBerry Biscuits and the Mj Grand Hotel saw winners awarded with scholarship prizes as well as goodies with Lady Precious set to represent Ghana at an international pageant for kids later in the year.
