The 2021 Africa Youth in Tourism Innovation Summit and Challenge has started on a great note here in Accra with speakers living up to the bid and expectations of participants particularly Mr. Abeiku Santana, the Destination Marketing Strategist and Broadcast Journalist from Ghana.

Abeiku Santana popularly known as Mr Tourism, who doubles as the CEO of Kaya Tours and Kaya Management Services considered this a huge privilege to speak about the Socio-Economic activity like Tourism and its contribution to GDP with respect to Instilling confidence in tourism, the state of Ghana’s readiness in welcoming both leisure and business tourists on this continental platform.

He projected Destination Ghana and it’s unique tourism product offerings very highly in his presentation and promoted Ghana as the best urban destination for the youth across Africa citing great opportunities in the creative arts industry with emphasis on Music, Movies, Fashion, Gastronomy and Photography.

The Africa Youth in Tourism Innovation Summit and Challenge is the “one and only“ Pan African Youth and Startups Tourism summit on the continent.

This platform serves as an exclusive gathering for key stakeholders, mentors, innovators, academics and investors in tourism, travel, hospitality, aviation and related industries to connect, engage, learn, innovate and grow with African Youth and startups in tourism on an annual basis.

The event is Organized by Africa Tourism Partners in partnership with United Nations World Tourism Organization.
