GLICO Group has extended a financial support to Foundation Orthopaedics and Complex Spine (FOCOS) Hospital, Oyarifa near Adentan.
The support, ¢25,000 cheque was to cushion the hospital in the running of its day to day activities.
Acting Head, Corporate Affairs and Marketing, GLICO Group, Ms. Kukua Apprey said the gesture forms part of the healthcare wing of the Group’s quest to ensure quality healthcare in the country.
“We at GLICO understand the complexity of what goes into running such a facility, so we didn’t hesitate to offer a hand when they knocked at our doors,” said Ms. Kukua Apprey.
She added, “What they do here is purely philanthropic, and as a company with healthcare as one of our subsidiaries, we thought it prudent to rally behind them, it is not our first time supporting them, it is capital intensive so management decided that, as our slogan states, we cushion them with this financial support”.
Medical Director at FOCOS, Irene Adorkor Wulff expressed gross thanks to GLICO for their continued support saying, “We operate a one stop shop medical service, and we must say thank you for your support."
